Located on the northern side of West Bengal India land which has breathtaking views, has different vibes, the surrounding landscape covered with lush green Tea gardens and pine trees, the white peak of Mount Kanchenjunga touching above the skyline the moniker has earned its title Queen of Hills.
Once it was a summer capital for the British, it has some amazing things Darjeeling without Toy Train and world-class Tea is unimaginable. The eternal beauty and the victorian charm of this place are enough to lure tourists around the world.
Darjeeling is the melting point of diverse cultures, here you can come across the belonging of different communities. Due to its diversity, you can also discern multiple languages like Nepali, Bengali, Hindi, and English. This is amongst many other fascinating facts about Darjeeling and it is reflected in the architectural styles of the various monasteries, temples, and churches.

Tiger hill is one the most beautiful place to visit in Darjeeling; it takes time patience and little enthusiasm. Situated at a height of 2590 meters and a distance of 13 kilometers from Darjeeling, It is the place and with the first light, you can see the zeniths of Kanchenjunga illuminate before the sun is seen at lower rises. The superb viewpoint of snow-shrouded mountains sitting amidst cotton fogs attracts voyagers to Tiger Hill from wherever the country. The best time to visit is early in the morning from October to May.

Chowrasta or Mall road is an iconic place to visit in Darjeeling, and it is also regarded as the Heart and Soul of the town. You can witness the open-air auditorium and the iconic golden statue of Bhanu Bhakta, many shops, street performances, relaxing chairs, an appealing atmosphere, and the different people coming from all around the world.

The Zoo in Darjeeling is also another attraction to visit, The zoo is specialized in the conservation of rare Himalayan species. The Darjeeling Zoo is the largest high-altitude zoo in India and covers an area of 67.5 acres at an average altitude of 7,000ft. Species like Red panda, Snow Leopard, Tibetan Wolf, and Himalayan Black bear including other endangered species.

It is also a must-visit place whenever you come to Darjeeling, it is a pilgrim for mountaineers and climbing enthusiasts. It has a museum with mountaineering displays and many expedition artifacts. HMI is located in the same complex as the zoo and both of these can be visited together. Just staring at the complex and reading its slogan "May you climb from peak to peak" gives us a feeling of happiness.

If you're a nature lover and love greenery then this place is a place for you. A location that is remarkable for enjoyable and taking part in the great view of the snowcapped peaks of the Himalayas. When the British had been ruling India it turned into the private courtyard of Sir Thomas Tartan's bungalow. In the year 1934 whilst it becomes destroyed by using an earthquake it was made over and opened to the public once more. After the re-designing of the park, the walkways around the park crisscrossed every other in the park. It looks beautiful at the outset. There is a supply for sitting arrangements across the park close to the boundary wall.
